Idols SA Season 8 winner Khaya to perform live at The Boardwalk

The Eastern Cape’s four finalists selected to go through to the next round of Idols SA Season 9 will have the opportunity to perform live with Season 8 winner, Khaya Mthethwa.
Khaya will be at The Boardwalk on Friday, March 15. He will be joined on stage by the top four PE Idols contestants: 20 year old Christina Williams, Thuba Myeju (22), Edward Allen (26) and Amanda Antony (19).
The contestants were selected from more than 100 hopefuls who lined up outside the Vodacom Amphitheatre on Monday, 25 February 2013.
Through a partnership with M-Net and Mzansi Magic, Algoa FM brought Idols SA auditions back to the Eastern Cape and are thrilled that Khaya has made the province his first stop by performing at The Boardwalk before he starts his national tour on April 1.
“With the support of M-Net and Mzansi Magic we would not have been able to give the talented people here the opportunity to audition for Idols. We know that the city is not only eager to hear Khaya perform live but also eager to hear the voices who will represent them in Johannesburg”, says Dave Tiltmann, Managing Director of Algoa FM.
The show is free for all to attend and will start at 18h30 in the Boardwalk complex.
