Algoa FM presenter, Charlton Tobias, is in the Garden Route this weekend to personally accept clothing and blankets donated to the station’s annual Winter Woolly campaign.
Tobias will be entertaining shoppers with three hours of music in the Garden Route Mall on Saturday, 1 June from 10am-1pm outside the Mugg and Bean Court.
He will be encouraging as many people as possible to donate warm winter woollies. All winter woollies donated in the Garden Route Mall on Saturday will be given to the local Family and Marriage Society of South Africa (FAMSA).
The Algoa FM Winter Woolly Week runs for the entire month of June and donation boxes will be located at all the Caltex garages, and malls in Knysna, George and Mossel Bay from June 1.
Anyone interested in making a cash contribution to the campaign will also be able to donate online throughout the month of June at www.algoafm.co.za.
