Donate and Help Algoa FM Gear-Up more little ones for Back to School!

For over 20 years Algoa FM has run their Back to School activation where the station’s presenters take to the street on the morning of the first day of school and hand out ruler, pencil and sharpener kits whilst collecting donations of school clothing from willing supporters.
This year is no different.  The Algoa FM presenters can be found on Wednesday, 16 January 2013 from 06h30 until 08h00 at pre-selected intersections dressed up in their old school gear. Moms and dads who want to extend a helping hand can take their goodies with them when they take their little ones to school for their first big day of the New Year.
The initiative was started with the aim of assisting more children, who are less privileged, to be prepared for school, helping them to excel by providing some of the important school necessities to start their school year on the right foot.
Supporters can catch Fast Lane’s Wayne Hart and Lauren Mungur on the intersection of Main Road and 14th Avenue in Walmer, KayCee Rossouw at the corner of Stanford Road and Aubrey Street, and Tové Kane at the Five Ways Intersection in Cape Road in Port Elizabeth. Gordon Graham will be found at the intersection of Devereux Avenue and Chamberlain Street in East London.  Drew will head to George and collect at the four way stop in Laing Street at George South Primary School.
Alternatively, if anyone misses the intersection, supporters of this worthy cause can drop off their donations at any one of the Algoa FM studios; either at The Boardwalk in Marine Drive Summerstrand in Port Elizabeth, Hemingways Hotel & Casino, Corner of Westerns & Two Rivers Drive in East London, or at the Algoa FM office at 72 York Street in George.
