Algoa FM has invited non-profit organisations in the region to apply to be beneficiaries of the annual Algoa Cares Charity Golf Day.
This year it will be hosted on Thursday, 28 May.
“We are looking for those non-profit organisations working in the fields of education, sport, health and the environment that operate within our broadcast footprint area,” says Jennilee Peremore, Public Relations and CSI Manager at Algoa FM.
Information required in the proposal is: NPO number, brief history of organisation (successes), geographical areas the organisation supports, goal, purpose and objectives of the organisations, future plans as well as contactable telephone/cell and e-mail address of the project manager.
Charities must be sure to outline the specific project the funding would be used for, as all the requirements for the project will be purchased by Algoa FM with the golf day funding.
“Needs for projects must be tangible, be sustainable; and projects must show longevity”, says Peremore.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday, 25 March 2015. Proposals can be sent to jennilee.p@algoafm.co.za or delivered to the Algoa FM House at The Sun Boardwalk. For more information call Jennilee on (041) 505 9497 or click here
