NMBM: EFF will support any coalition to get rid of the ANC

The EFF, in Nelson Mandela Bay, says it is ready to give its support to any party or coalition government that is ready to remove the ANC Government.

While the EFF will not officially be part of the newly proposed DA-led coalition government it says it will vote together with it to oust the current ANC-led administration.

Political parties who hope to form a new government to take over the Metro said there had been a breakthrough in Thursday's eighth engagement.

The DA together with, AIC, AIM, Freedom Plus and PAC, UDM and the ACDP agreed to form a coalition.

In a joint unsigned statement, the parties said they aim to sign a formal agreement before the end of the month.

Councillor, Khanya Ngqisha, says the EFF will support this move in council.

The party holds eight seats in council which will be needed if the new coalition government forges ahead.

Ngqisa says the ANC has proven time and time again that they are not capable of leading in this Metro.
