It’s very nifty and agile with a smooth ride with plenty of space. Aesthetically, it’s a good looker as well. So let’s delve further.
The pricing is bound to be a hook for prospective buyers with some 700 vehicles sold since launch last month. Now that’s not bad at all. The eye-catching XUV3XO is priced from R254 999 for the manual and R274 999 for the auto. Value for money. I had the AX7L on test with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine with 82kW, 200Nm offering a dynamic acceleration of 0-60km/h in just 4.6* seconds. The all-new XUV 3XO sets new benchmarks in the compact sport utility vehicle (C-SUV) segment, with standout design, premium interiors, a truly comfortable ride, cutting-edge technology, thrilling performance and the highest level of safety.
Standout Design
The XUV 3XO introduces a bold, athletic silhouette that commands attention. It features a distinctive front grille and headlamp design with a piano black finish on the grille and LED headlamps, LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. Several unique wheel designs have been penned for the different XUV 3XO models, including a stylish 17” diamond-cut alloy wheel on luxury models. At the rear, the infinity LED tail lamp, which stretches across the rear of the vehicle, emphasises the wide and stable stance of the XUV 3XO.
Its cabin boasts premium interiors with a soft-touch leatherette dashboard that extends to the door trims and leatherette seat upholstery to elevate the sense of sophistication. Leather accents on the steering wheel, gear knob and front armrest further enhance the premium feel.

The XUV 3XO is at the forefront of automotive technology twin 26.03 cm (10.25”) HD screens, and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Adding to the list, an immersive audio experience is created through a Harman Kardon Premium Audio with a dedicated amplifier and sub-woofer that also offers Sonic Expanse, Bass Enhancer, a nine-band equaliser and four Ambient Sound Modes.

The XUV 3XO is powered by a turbo-petrol engine that is designed for exhilarating performance and superior efficiency. Staying true to the brand’s legacy of offering thrilling performance, the mStallion TCMPFi turbo-petrol engine delivers 82 kW and 200 Nm of torque. Each engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an added option of 6-speed AISIN automatic transmission for the petrol engines.
