It’s here and ready for action. The Duster has been re-imagined on several fronts to give you an all-round weekend adventurous vehicle that is equally fit for the weekday office commute. Space, styling and good looks including an engine and gearbox to take on all your demands of an SUV vehicle. And the price is also very competitive for its category. When I first had a look at the Duster late last year, it certainly grabbed my eye. It’s like a radical change from the previous iteration. The latest version stands with authority and has appeal. I drove the Duster on tar, then on gravel roads and finally on the very loose sands of the Atlantis Dunes in Cape Town. Irrespective of the road surface, the all-new Duster performed with aplomb. First launched globally in 2010, with a major update in 2017, the Gen 3 Renault Duster has consistently redefined the SUV landscape.
The Duster's success speaks for itself with approximately 1,000 Duster SUVs rolling off the production line daily at Renault's Pitesti plant in Romania and over 2.2 million units sold worldwide. This demand is a testament to Duster’s consistent popularity.

A Design That Makes a Statement
Renault has reimagined the Duster's design, retaining the striking looks that defined previous generations. It now elevates them with Renault's new, distinctive design language. The new Duster proudly showcases refreshed aesthetics.
Inside, the design echoes the exterior's robust character, creating a sense of protection. The high, vertical dashboard and broad band contribute to this feeling. Ergonomics are prioritized, including the 10.1 -inch central screen angled towards the driver. The new automatic transmission e-shifter gear lever enhances ease of use. The new Y-shaped signature design cues connect the interior and exterior: Y-shaped air vents and trim elements inside and Y-shaped LED headlights and rear lights outside.
Exterior: A bolder, tougher and more stylish SUV
The new Renault Duster has undergone a significant exterior redesign making it more modern, rugged and aerodynamically efficient, while staying true to its off-road DNA.
The new Duster features a sharper, more angular design, giving it a more assertive road presence.The higher ground clearance (up to 217mm (4WD)) makes it more capable off-road and gives it a more dominant stance.
Interior: Re-imagined
The new Renault Duster features a completely redesigned interior, offering a modern, practical and comfortable cabin that enhances daily driving and adventure trips.
The new Duster ‘s interior cabin experience is enriched with enhanced space on board with a wider and more practical interior, where the more ergonomic redesigned seats offer better lumbar support and improved cushioning for long journeys. The New Duster offers better space optimization, providing more legroom and headroom, for improved comfort and seating for passengers. Additional storage capacity includes increased glove box space, door bins, and centre console compartments. The boot volume has grown to 472 litres (4x2).

Under the bonnet
The new Renault Duster 4WD model introduces a mild hybrid powertrain, offering a balance between fuel efficiency, lower emissions and improved performance. The mild-hybrid powertrain combines a new-generation 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V battery and an electric motor (starter generator) to assist the internal combustion engine. For fuel efficiency and driving smoothness, the mild hybrid engine, with a 6-speed manual transmission, yields 96kW and increased torque efficiency through the electric assistance.

The new Renault Duster is backed by a 5-year/150,000 km mechanical warranty, a 3-year/ 45,000 km service plan, and a 6-year anti-corrosion warranty.
