A female accomplice is due to appear in the Knysna magistrate's court on Tuesday in connection with a murder and house robbery incident at the town.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Captain Bernadine Steyn says an investigation by members of the George cluster in conjunction with Port Alfred SAPS led to the arrest of the woman at a house in Port Alfred for possession of possible stolen property.
An Isuzu bakkie, television, clothing and computer equipment were recovered at the Port Alfred house during the women's arrest.
The items were stolen during a robbery at the Knysna home of elderly British couple Brian and Christine Ann Davis on the 2nd of August.
When police arrived at the Lindsay Street home, they found 64 year-old Christine Davis dead on the floor of the living room. She had an open wound to her neck and injuries to her head.
Her 67 year-old husband Brian was found in the garage with open wounds to his body.
Captain Steyn has confirmed that he passed away in hospital in George at about 8-30 last Saturday morning - the 8th of August.
