A 35-year-old woman made a brief appearance in the Motherwell Magistrate's Court in Gqeberha on Friday in connection with the brutal murder of trade unionist, Lizo Vakala.
The charred remains of the 65-year-old were found in bushes along Addo Road earlier this week after he was reported missing over the weekend.
Police subsequently arrested Miranda Galela n a charge of murder.
Spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, says the case against her was postponed to the 4th of November for a formal application.
This week Nehawu and the SA Municipal Workers Union, paid tribute to Vakala, who served the labour movement for several decades.
Vakala's burnt body was set alight and dumped in the dense bushes close to the R336 and R335 crossing.
