A 51-year-old woman has been killed and her 18-year-old son and five-year-old grand daughter were injured when they were hit by a vehicle on the N2 near Great Brak River.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Lauriane Botha says the incident happened at around 1 PM on Friday.
“Paramedics declared the woman dead on the scene.”
Botha says the children were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but she said the nature of their injuries are not yet known.
Great Brak River police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
