The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said the body of a 20-year-old man who went missing at sea at Victoria Bay on 31 August, has been found.
Spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, said it was spotted in the water by a group paddling from Victoria Bay to Sedgefield on Saturday the 7th of September.
He said they raised the alarm and the police water and diving services, assisted by Wilderness NSRI, recovered the man’s body about 1.5 kilometres offshore.
The body of the other male who went missing was recovered last week Tuesday.
“The group of paddlers are commended for their assistance. Condolences are conveyed to the families of the 20-year-old and the 17-year-old,” Lambinon added.
Both men were positively identified but their names have not been released.
