Police in Gqeberha made a swift arrest following the murder of two teenagers who were shot and killed in Bethelsdorp on Monday.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the murders were unrelated.
She says on Monday at 1 pm the body of 15-year-old Malique Arnolds was found with multiple gunshot wounds at Rensburg Street in Arcadia, while the body of 15-year-old Luciano Bailey was discovered at 3 pm on the corner of Sunflower and Carney Streets.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says a preliminary investigation was done by police with no success as it was believed to be gang related.
She says a thorough investigation led them to the homes of both suspects, aged 17 and 27.
The teenager appeared at court in Nerina house on Wednesday while the 27-year-old will make his first appearance in the Gqeberha Magistrates court on Thursday.
