The men accused of plotting to kill Gqeberha mother Vicki Terblanche made a brief appearance in the city's High Court on Friday.
Vicki's estranged husband Arnold Terblanche and her boyfriend at the time of her murder, Reinhardt Leach sat next to each other in the dock where the case was yet again postponed.
During an earlier appearance this month, Leach indicated through his legal representative Jodene Coertzen that he will bring a bail application and discussions, in this regard, are still on track.
It is not yet clear on what grounds the application will be brought but seeing that Leach is facing a Schedule 6 crime, he would have to show exceptional circumstances as to why he should be granted bail.
Terblanche's legal team brought an application to compel the state to provide further particulars and asked the Judge to order the state to do so.
State prosecutor Marius Stander said he would oppose the application and all parties agreed to postpone the matter until the 10th of June.
A trial date has been set down to start on the 9th of October but it has since come to light that the date was moved.
It will in all likelihood not proceed until 2025.
Vicki's body was found in a shallow grave in Greenbushes on the outskirts of Gqeberha, just days before her 43rd birthday.
It is the state's case that Leach, Dylan Cullis, who took a plea deal with the state in exchange for an 18-year prison sentence, and the state's star 204 witness, Mario De Ridder Jr killed Vicki, before wrapping her body in a duvet and stuffing it in a car.
The trio is also accused of going go-carting with Vicki's body in the boot of Leach's BMW while they hatched a plan to get rid of her body.
The state will call a witness who will testify how he was approached to dig a shallow grave before Leach and De Ridder dumped her body.
