Four suspects who jumped out of a moving vehicle to flee from police have been apprehended along the R102 near Humansdorp for transporting Mandrax.
Police spokepserson Captain Marius McCarthy says members were on patrol on Saturday when they received intel about a white Hyundai travelling towards town.
He says when members tried to stop the vehicle police gave chase.
Two suspects jumped from the moving vehicle near Boshof, as a result, the car went off the road and two more jumped out.
Captain McCarthy says all four were arrested and when the car was searched two bags will of Mandrax were discovered with a value of about R96 000.
The men are expected to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrates Court on Monday.
