Six suspects are expected to appear in the Gqeberha Magistrates Court on Thursday in connection with three separate murder cases.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the six were arrested on Wednesday for murders that took place in 2018 and 2021.
She says a 37-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing Luyanda Ntokoana back in 2018.
Janse van Rensburg says police initially opened an inquest docket but later changed it to a case of murder.
She says in the second case, three suspects allegedly assaulted 38-year-old Vuyolwethu August in Kuyga in March of 2021 after he allegedly tried to rob them.
The suspects are aged between 17 and 33.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says in the third case, two suspects, aged 27 and 32 were identified for allegedly killing 44-year-old Luvuyo Tom at his home in June last year.
Kabega Park SAPS made all the arrests.
