Another armed robbery took place in George on Monday morning, only 48 hours
after a liquor store was also robbed by a group of men in Mossel Bay.
During the robbery, five armed suspects held staff and clients of the Total Gas station in Nelson
Mandela Boulevard at gun point.
They fled with cash and airtime in a client's white Volkswagen Golf at around 08:00am on Monday morning.
On Saturday, five armed men robbed a liquor store, in Church Street, holding staff and clients at gunpoint after which they fled with a large amount of cash.
Both incidents are being investigated and no arrests have been made.
The spokesperson for the Cornville Police Station, Lieutenant Khunjulwa Sam told Algoa FM News that it cannot at this stage be confirmed whether the two incidents can be
linked with one another.
