Police in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, says they're on the trail of three men who robbed a day care centre in Soweto-On-Sea on Thursday.
Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu says a shot was fired but no one was injured when the men robbed the Ikaya Day Care Centre.
He says the men robbed a group of people, including eight tourists who had visited the centre, taking i-phones, bags and wallets.
Gwavu says a task team has been set up to track down the robbers.
He added that children at the Day Care Centre would be receiving trauma counselling.
