Police in Kariega are investigating a double murder after the decomposed bodies of two men were found in bushes next to Koedoeskloof Road in Kariega.
A spokesperson said the bodies were in an advanced stage of decomposition, and its suspected that they were set alight using burning tyres, and were burnt beyond recognition.
No further details were provided.
Police however are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist the investigation, or information on the identities of the deceased, to contact the investigating officer at SAPS Kariega, Detective Sergeant Ricardo January at 072 217 5772.
