Gqeberha police are investigating two robbery incidents in Summerstrand in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, said in one incident in Harvey Street, a woman was confronted by two men in her home.
He said they demanded valuables, taking a laptop and cell phone, and money from a safe.
Beetge said the complainant and another woman were tied up before the suspects fled.
No shots were fired in this incident, and a house robbery case is now under investigation.
Meanwhile, Beetge said the second incident occurred in Admirality Way where a B&B owner was also confronted by two intruders with firearms.
He said the complainant and a tenant were also herded into a room and shot fired randomly in the house before the suspects took cell phones and a black VW Polo.
Beetge said police will not exclude the possibility that the two incidents could be linked.
