The death toll in the flood-related incidents in Kariega and Nelson Mandela Bay has risen to seven with one person still missing. The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says it has noted with concern the persistent rains that have caused devastating floods in large parts of the metro, resulting in at least two deaths in Kariega. Municipality spokesperson Sithembiso Soyaya said on Saturday morning that two people were also missing.
