A convicted rapist who was wanted by police in the Western Cape for the attempted rape of minors has been arrested and sentenced to 12 years for child pornography. James Summers Prinsloo was last seen in February 2019 and two months later in April, police asked the public's assistance in finding Mr Prinsloo who allegedly attempted to rape three minors in the Muizenberg area.

Port Elizabeth police have arrested six suspects following an armed robbery at a shop in Malabar which was caught on CCTV. Police said the men, aged between 19 and 29, were arrested in Zwide in the early hours of Thursday morning.
