A former bookkeeper accused of stealing nearly R2 million from the Aurora Special Care Centre in Port Elizabeth has pleaded guilty. The 44-year-old Johannes Gieselbach pleaded guilty to 168 counts of theft at the Commercial Crimes Court in PE on Wednesday.

The Minister of Community Safety in the Western Cape Albert Fritz has welcomed the arrest of a man who allegedly kidnapped a young girl in Cape Town. The 8-year-old Tazne van Wyk has been missing for two weeks.

Three suspects are behind bars following a brutal double murder in Maclear in the Eastern Cape.
