Eastern Cape police have arrested a wanted suspect in Komani, formerly Queenstown, following the disappearance and murder of three people in Tsomo in November 2019. They went missing under mysterious circumstances, and without a trace at the time, and the 71-year-old grandmother and two girls, aged 17 and 16, one of whom was 9 months pregnant, were later found floating in the Tsomo River by a shepherd.

Police in Cambridge, East London are investigating an armed robbery after an elderly couple was robbed on their farm in Komga on Thursday evening. Spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says it is alleged that two men entered the home of the couple aged 82 and 87, demanding the safe keys.
