The self-confessed middleman Luthando Siyoni has been found guilty of the murder of Kariega teacher Jayde Panayiotou in the Port Elizabeth High Court. Siyoni faced another charge of conspiracy to commit murder but was found not guilty on that particular charge.

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of a man who was last seen climbing a fence at a wedding venue in Kariega appears to be deepening. Twenty-Five-year-old Tour-Guide, Roysten Kruger, who is registered at the Department of Tourism in the Western Cape, was driving a group of people from Beaufort West to a church event at the Hexagon wedding venue in Kariega when he mysteriously vanished.

A man in his 70's has drowned while crossing a low-level bridge in his double cab bakkie in Mossel Bay. Police say the incident happened at around 9 am on Tuesday on the Geelbekvlei Road near Brandwag.
