An EFF councillor who allegedly masqueraded as a white female on Twitter is back in court on Monday where he is facing off against the South African Human Rights Commission. Anthony Matumba, who works at the Makhado local municipality in Limpopo, is accused of running a Twitter account under the name Tracy Zille where derogatory comments were made against black women in an attempt to sow racial discord.

A police officer captured on a viral video on social media is currently undergoing observation at a local facility in Cape Town. In the video, the officer is seen acting out of character before assaulting his colleagues who tried to subdue him.
