Detectives from the Humewood branch in Gqeberha are seeking the community's assistance in tracing suspects or witnesses in a murder that took place on Christmas eve last year. Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says 18-year-old Henrique Scott and a friend arrived at a party venue in Slater Street in Central earlier in the evening. She says the friend was allowed in but Scott was denied entry.

A Herold's Bay woman has died after being shot in the head, allegedly by her husband. Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie confirmed the woman's death on Tuesday morning.
