Gqeberha police say two of the suspects believed to have been involved in a Sunridge Park house robbery case earlier this week were out on parole while the third was out on bail for murder.

A Gqeberha policeman had a lucky escape when a gunman opened fire on him outside his home in Zwide on Tuesday night. Colonel Priscilla Naidu said the off-duty Sergeant was confronted at his home by two men, who inquired about another person.
