A 76-year-old man was badly assaulted and stabbed during a house robbery on a smallholding in Uitenhage Road, Withoogte. Police Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says at approximately 2 pm on Tuesday the victim's ex-wife, who also lives on the smallholding, hear a commotion coming from the main house and she alerted the community via a WhatsApp group.
