A 51-year-old alleged child pornographer from Gqeberha has been found guilty of flouting his bail conditions. The suspect, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his children allegedly exploited his twin daughters, who were eight years old at the time, by taking photographs of them in the bath in order to distribute naked images of them online.

The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) in the Eastern Cape says an investigation into the conduct of one of their officials in Gqeberha has been completed. The official, Captain Siyabonga Tutu, was working in the Medium A section of the St Albans Correctional Facility where murder accused Arnold Terblanche was in custody for over a year.

The 66-year-old woman who has been missing from the Louis Dubb Old Age Home in Kabega Park since the 9th of February has been found dead. Police say they found the body of Bernadette January in bushes not far from the home on Monday afternoon.
