The trial of the owners of East London's Enyobeni tavern, where 21 young people died last June, began on Tuesday with a 16-year-old youth giving his evidence in camera.

A group of five men are on the run following a home invasion in Kragga Kamma Road in Lorraine in Gqeberha on Friday. Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says shortly after midnight, the five men, armed with knives and a crowbar, entered the house by breaking a window in front of the house.
