Police in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, have arrested one of the three men who robbed a day care centre in Soweto-On-Sea.
The three men held foreign volunteers, children and teachers at gunpoint at the I-Khaya Day Care Centre on Thursday.
One shot was fired but no one was injured and the men fled with cellphones, wallets and other valuables.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu says some of the valuables were recovered during the arrest.
He says police are still gathering information on the two men who are still at large and he has asked the public to report any information about the case to the police.
