Mossel Bay learner still recovering following attack in classroom

A Grade 8 learner from the Indwe Secondary School at Mossel Bay is recovering from multiple stab wounds after he was attacked inside a classroom this week.

Police report that the youngster was stabbed in the back and head and severely beaten by seven suspects in front of his fellow classmates. 

The incident happened when the teacher had to leave the classroom to make photocopies. 

It is alleged that at least one of the suspects is not a learner from the school but obtained an Indwe school uniform to gain access to the school.
