Man killed on his way back from funeral

A senior official in the Ndlambe Municipality in Port Alfred has been killed in an accident.

Algoa FM News has learnt that the man was returning from the funeral of a colleague when the accident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The official's car was involved in a head-on collision with a truck on the R-72 near Bushman's River.

Police confirmed the accident.

His name has not yet been released.
