Police in Makhanda are seeking the assistance of the community in finding 70-year-old Carol Oosthuizen who was reported missing on Wednesday 31 August 2022.
Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli says she was last seen around 4pm on that day, driving her vehicle passing Rhini Junction in the direction of Peddie.
Her vehicle is a red Hyundai I20 with registration number FVG 296 EC.
She suffers from dementia which impacts on her reasoning.
Police are searching for her but at this stage she cannot be traced.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Captain Jurgens Gouws on 082 442 3658 or the nearest police station

Shortly before 2pm on Thursday, AlgoaFM News received word from Oosthuizen's family that she had been found, seemingly unharmed.
Nonetheless, she was being taken to a local hospital for a check up.
