Local woman killed whilst crossing Uitenhage Road

Port Elizabeth police have opened a culpable homicide docket after a woman was killed after being hit by a motorcycle.

Police spokesperson, Mcedi Mbombo, says a 35-year-old woman was hit by the motorcycle while crossing the Uitenhage road early on Thursday morning.

He says the 38-year-old biker was also injured and is in critical but stable condition in hospital.
