East London detectives are on the hunt for two suspects who shot and wounded an attorney in Vincent on Friday morning.
According to police, the 70-year-old attorney was about to enter his office at 09:48, when the suspects approached him and fired several shots.
The man works at Maseti Incorporated.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu said he was injured in his upper body and taken to a hospital for treatment.
"The suspects fled in a silver Mercedes Benz.
"Police are investigating a case of attempted murder, and no arrests have been made," she said.
Algoa FM News has been informed that one of the perpetrators allegedly wore a police uniform.
Clients who visited the premises were turned away as police gathered evidence on the scene.
