Herolds Bay pets poisoned

George police are investigating the poisoning of five pets in Herolds Bay.

The animals, three dogs and a two cats, were all found dead on the same day by their owners.

A subsequent autopsy revealed that the animals were killed with a poison known as Temik.

Police believe the poison is used by perpetrators to eliminate the animals before a house-breaking.

No arrests have been made.
