Authorities on the Garden Route had their hands full on Saturday as heavy rain caused flooding leading to road closures in many areas.
The Garden Route District Municipality said teams were out clearing fallen trees from roads and clearing debris.
A stop and go operation was put in place on the Kaaimans Pass outside George where one lane was closed due to a mudslide.
Authorities also closed roads over low water bridges in Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn and Kannaland.
Meanwhile, the Mossel Bay municipality said it was monitoring several rivers in flood, including the Great Brak River, Leeukloof and Kouma Rivers.
