A 15 year old school boy from Great Brak River was placed under correctional supervision after he stabbed a fellow learner to death on a school bus.
The accused was a grade 9 learner at the Great Brak River Secondary School during the incident. He was accused of murder after he stabbed the 15 year old Joseph Isaacs with a knife in his heart.
The accused entered a plea agreement with the state and pleaded guilty on a charge of manslaughter.
He was also suspended from school.
In the mean time five teenagers who escaped from a correctional youth centre in George after which they allegedly brutally attacked a woman, appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate Court. The teenagers indicated that they do not want to apply for bail and will appear in court again on the 19th of August.
