Police in Gqeberha are on the hunt for two suspects following a double murder at the trucker's inn in Markman on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says shortly before 9 am, 34-year-old Tabile Adonis entered the shop at the garage when the two suspects approached him, firing multiple shots.
She says the suspects then ran out and approached 40-year-old George Bruintjies who was standing oytside.
Colonel Naidu says when Bruintjies saw the suspects he started running but was pursued and shot twice before dying on the scene.
She says the suspects jumped into a white vehicle and drove off.
The motive for the murders is under investigation.
