George resident killed in head on collision

A 51 year old man has been killed in a car accident on the N2 between Wilderness and Sedgefield.

Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn told Algoa FM News that a bakkie, driving in the direction of Knysna collided head on collision with a truck on Tuesday. 

She said the driver of the bakkie, a resident from George died at the scene. 

Steyn said the truck driver was admitted to a local hospital with minor injuries.
