Fifteen people to appear in Uitenhage Court for drunk driving

Fifteen people are due to appear in the Uitenhage magistrate's court this week.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says they were arrested in police operations between Friday night and Sunday morning.

She said the 15 were initially detained but later released on bail and warned to appear in court.

Swart says they all faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
