A manhunt is underway in Nelson Mandela Bay for the gunmen who shot and killed three men in Arcadia in the city's Northern Areas on Monday night.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, said Bethelsdorp police are leading the manhunt while the 72-hour activation plan was also instituted.
Beetge said four men kicked open the front door of a house in Hickory Street at around twenty-to-twelve on Monday night.
He said the 57-year-old man sustained several gunshot wounds to the head while his 21-year-old son and 22-year-old cousin were also murdered.
Police are also appealing to the public for help in tracing the gunmen.
Anyone who can assist should contact Bethelsdorp police.
