East London police have confirmed that the body of another homeless man has been found in the Central Business District.
Warrant Officer Hazel Mqala, says the body of the unknown man, who had head injuries, was found in Union Street.
In the past two weeks, the bodies of three other homeless people were found in the CBD, while one man, who was brutally assaulted survived the attack.
The Daily Dispatch reports that the murder of the man, thought to be in his thirties, brings to eight, the number of homeless people killed in the CBC and Quigney area in recent months.
Police earlier ruled out the suggestion that the murders may be the work of serial killer.
