Eastern Cape police are calling for assistance in finding out what happened to two people who were found stabbed to death in bushes next to the R334 road near Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage.
Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei says offficers were called to the scene on Sunday night where they found the bodies of an unknown man and woman, both with stab wounds.
They were both in their early 30's and their bodies were lying in close proximity to each other.
Seekoei says a passerby found the bodies and alerted the police.
The circumstances surrounding the murders are still unclear and anyone with information is asked to contact their nearest police station.
