Bouncing baby boy born to Mossel Bay couple

A woman from Heidelberg in the Western Cape has given birth to a 5.35 kg baby, the largest baby born at the Life Bay View Private Hospital in Mossel Bay.

Hospital spokesperson, Elzaan Moëlich, said baby Eben Henze was born by a caesarean section on Monday.

Moelich says Eben is the second child of Rykie and her husband Eben.

She said mother and baby were healthy and will soon be discharged from the hospital.
