The sentencing of a bogus radiographer from Mthatha, who practiced for months without the proper qualifications, has been postponed yet again.
Twenty-seven-year-old Asisipho Mbekela has been found guilty of three counts of fraud and two counts of forgery in the Gqeberha Specialized Commercial Crimes Court last year.
By the time a probe into Mbekela's qualification was instituted, she was doing her community service as a radiographer at Livingstone Hospital.
The trial has been dragging for four years and Mbekela has since given birth to a son.
During a brief appearance in court today, the matter was postponed to the 8th of November, for sentencing.
The postponement was done on the agreement of both the state and the defence.
A report as to who would take care of the minor should she be sentenced to jail has so far been one of the delays in the matter.
