Biker killed in accident on N2 - Gqeberha

Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal bike accident on the N2 yesterday.

Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 60-year-old biker was travelling on the N2 near Commercial Road in the direction of Cotswold when he careered off the road and landed in the bush.

She says he passed away on the scene shortly after 3 pm. 

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The biker's name cannot yet be released as he has not yet been formally identified.
