Police in Gqeberha are investigating the murder of a 61-year-old woman whose body was found inside a vehicle at a house in Beetlestone Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, identified the deceased as Cheryl Ann Kannemeyer, who was a well-known property agent.
She said she had sustained several wounds to the body and a laceration to the neck.
“Her husband, aged 57, was found lying at the rear left side of the vehicle with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. A knife was found close to him,” Naidu said.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Naidu said a case of murder is under investigation.
