Police in Gqeberha are appealing to the public for assistance in solving a double murder in Missionvale this weekend.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said two men were gunned down during Friday night and early Saturday morning.
She said Algoa Park SAPS responded to a report of a shooting on Congo Street in Missionvale at around 06.30 on Saturday.
When they arrived on the scene they noticed that the door to a shack had been forcefully opened.
Janse Van Rensburg said police found the bodies of two men, aged 30 and 32, with gunshot wounds inside.
She said the circumstances surrounding the double murder are under investigation.
